WRITE-IN CANDIDATE FOR LAKE COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 2

Protect what makes Lake County home.

Lake County can grow, but it cannot grow at the expense of the people and places that make it home. I am running to protect our community roots, demand responsible planning, and respect the people who pay the bills.

District 2 race. Fill the bubble. Write Jose Elias-Torres.

A better standard for Lake County decisions

County decisions can shape a community for decades. Before major growth, infrastructure, land-use, public-safety, or budget decisions move forward, Lake County residents deserve clear answers.

Does this protect the surrounding community and its character? Are roads, water, drainage, Fire/EMS, public safety, and county services ready? What will it cost now and over time? Who will pay? Can residents see the commitments, timelines, funding, and progress?

I will come prepared, ask hard questions, listen to residents, and advocate for decisions that put Lake County people first.

Protect the community. Show the capacity. Explain the cost. Put the commitments on the record.

Your neighbor.
Prepared to serve.

I am a husband, son, caregiver, homeowner in Minneola, and business and operations professional.

For more than 12 years, I have worked in operations, healthcare, pharmacy, telecommunications, and consulting. I have built systems, improved broken processes, managed teams and budgets, and created accountability tools that help organizations serve people better.

I am not running to be a career politician. I am running to bring a prepared, accountable, people-first voice to the Lake County Board of County Commissioners.

Lake County is worth protecting.

I bought my first home in Minneola. I am part of Lake County’s growth, and I will never pretend otherwise.

But I understand why residents are frustrated when development moves faster than roads, water, drainage, public safety, healthcare access, and county services.

I am not running to stop progress. I am running to make sure progress does not come at the expense of the people already here.

Before major growth moves forward, residents deserve clear answers:

Are the roads ready? Is water and drainage capacity ready? Can Fire/EMS and county services keep up? What will it cost over time, and who will pay for it?

What I will fight for

Voting for Jose is a write-in vote.

Jose’s name will not be printed as a candidate option on the ballot. If the Lake County Commissioner District 2 race appears on your ballot, follow these three steps.
